The “registry” is the central database which powers Windows. It holds everything from saved files to your Internet favorites – it’s like the nerve center of Windows and is crucial for your system to run fast. The reason why your PC is running slow is because the files in this database are either corrupt or lost, making Windows have to look twice as hard just to find them.

A registry cleaner tool will search through this database and fix any problem files it can find. Because Windows doesn’t know that its registry is not in order, it just takes longer to find the files it needs, making it run slower. It doesn’t know it’s running slower but over time, it becomes more noticeable. In order to speed up your machine, you just need to make sure that all your computer’s registry files are in order and not corrupt.
